Inspired by Archbishop Charles Heerey, the Christian Welfare Association initiated the establishment of a center for skill acquisition and youth development. In 1962, land was acquired at 13 Awka Road, marking the foundation of our current site. Operations commenced in 1966 under the leadership of Rev. Fr. A. Byne. Over the years, the school has expanded its curriculum to include courses such as motor mechanics, furniture making, fashion designing, typing and shorthand, accounting, business methods, catering, and management studies, providing holistic education that combines both intellectual and practical skills.
