Our team, aptly named “Save A Soul,” has soared to victory, securing the prestigious Gold Medal at the renowned World Technovation Challenge held in the Silicon Valley of San Francisco, USA.

The Save A Soul team comprises Jessica Osita, Promise Nnalue, Adaeze Onuigbo, Nwabuaku Ossai, and Vivian Okoye, brilliant minds brimming with creativity and determination. These remarkable girls showcased not only their individual brilliance but also the collective ingenuity and teamwork that define Regina Pacis students.

Their groundbreaking project, the “FD-Detector” app, is a revolutionary solution to combat the pervasive issue of counterfeit drugs in Nigeria. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, this innovative app empowers users to verify the authenticity of medications with a simple barcode scan, thereby safeguarding public health and saving lives.

Under the expert guidance of our esteemed mentor, Uchenna Onwuamaegbu-Ugwu, CEO of Edufun Technik STEM, the Save A Soul team navigated through a fiercely competitive field of over 2,000 applications from countries spanning the globe.
